Jivika Parivar Nidhi Limited is run out of House Number 246 in Jamalpur, which is in the Gogri area of Khagaria. It’s the home of Sri Sanjay Kr Jha. We aren't located in some big office park or a shopping mall. We are right in the heart of the community. Because we are in a house, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. You might hear someone cooking in the background or kids playing outside in the street. We use one of the front rooms for all our business stuff. There are stacks of paper everywhere, and we try our best to keep them in some kind of order. Khagaria is a place where everyone talks to everyone, so word gets around fast. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. Most of our visitors are people who live just a few streets away in Jamalpur. We spend the day checking figures and making sure the records are right. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the tea runs out before the day is over, which is a bit of a tragedy for us. We don't try to look more professional than we are. We are just local people running a small operation from a house. It’s practical and it keeps our costs down, which is good for everyone. That’s just the way things are here in Gogri.
