Naag Bricks Field

If you head towards Post Office Ailai Fatehpur in Erayan, you’ll find us. Naag Bricks Field is situated right there in Tehsil Khaga. We are pretty close to the S.P. Residence, which is a good landmark if you’re lost. Working with bricks means a lot of dirt and sun. It is not the cleanest job, but it is honest. We spend our days out in the field making sure the stacks are right. The heat can be a lot sometimes, especially during the peak summer months. We don't have some fancy air-conditioned lobby. It’s mostly just the open ground and the kilns. People from around Fatehpur come by when they are building a house or a wall. We just show them what we have and load up the trucks. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. You see the raw clay turn into something solid that people use for their homes. That is the main thing for us. The site stays busy with the workers and the noise of the machinery. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just part of the brick business. We’ve been at this location for a while, so the locals know the name Naag Bricks Field well enough. We just keep the fires going and produce what’s needed for the local builds around Khaga.
