R G Sales is over at Post Kesinga, right near the NH 26 Main Road. Being near the highway means we see a lot of different people coming through. We sell basic hardware and some household items that people in the village need. It’s a sturdy building, though the paint is peeling a bit on the side facing the sun. We open early because that’s when the farmers and laborers are out and about. We keep things like buckets, ropes, and basic tools. It’s not a supermarket; it’s just a regular shop where things are piled up according to what sells the most. We spend a lot of time talking to the truck drivers who stop for supplies. The main road is always busy, so there is plenty of dust. We have to sweep the floor three or four times a day. We don't have any big goals of becoming a giant company. We just want to make sure the locals can get what they need without traveling too far. Sometimes we have to order things from the bigger cities, and that takes a week. Most people don't mind the wait. We know everyone’s name around here. It’s a simple business. We close up when the sun goes down and head home. That’s how it’s been for a long time now.
