People from the neighborhood come in quite often, usually after they’ve been to the bakery next door. We know most of the regulars by name and what they usually buy. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just sitting behind the counter and helping whoever walks through the door. We don’t do any fancy advertising or anything like that; people usually find us just by passing by or through word of mouth. Being near Ambawadi helps because it’s a familiar area for everyone around here. We’ve got a lot of jars and boxes tucked away in the corners. It might look a bit crowded to some, but we know where everything is.
