You can find us out on Mang Road in Keshod village. We’ve been here in the Junagadh area for quite some time. Dealing with steel is what we know. It’s not the quietest job, what with the clanging of metal and the cutting machines running most of the day. Our shop is pretty much a workshop first and an office second. We have stacks of rods and sheets everywhere. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we help out the farmers and builders around here. They need stuff for their sheds or some reinforcement for their houses. We don’t do big fancy presentations. If someone needs steel, they come by, we talk about what they need, and we cut it to size. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we’re used to it. My cousin and I run things mostly. We learned the trade from the older generation. It’s steady work. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where the shop is on the road to Mang. We try to keep things simple and treat people right. If the steel is good and the price is what we agreed on, everyone is happy. That’s how we’ve stayed open all these years in the village. It is hard work but it feels good to see a finished pile of steel ready for use.
