ClostreDesigns is on the second floor of Andodi Arcade. It’s right there on Kottaram Road in East Nadakkavu, Calicut 6. We’ve been working out of this space for a while now. It’s a simple office, nothing too grand or fancy. You just come up to the second floor and you’ll find us. We don't really use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just come in, sit at our desks, and work on the designs. Kottaram Road is usually pretty active, so there’s always something happening outside our windows. We like being in East Nadakkavu because it’s a good part of Calicut. The office itself is full of our equipment and a lot of half-finished sketches. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up to say hello. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy and have to put our heads down quite a bit. We don't have any formal mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have a calendar with deadlines on it. It’s a practical way to run a business. Most of us have lived in Calicut for years, so we’re comfortable here. We just do our work and head home at the end of the day. It’s not complicated at all. We just show up and handle the design work that is waiting for us.
