Save Mart

Save Mart is located on the Main Road in Barbil, right near the Rungta Office. It’s a convenient spot for people living in this part of Keonjhar District to pick up their daily household items. We aren't one of those massive retail chains you see in the big cities. The shop is a decent size, but it can get quite packed on the weekends when everyone is doing their shopping. We stock things like soap, snacks, bottled drinks, and basic kitchen supplies. The shelves are usually full, though sometimes we struggle to get specific brands if the distributor is running late. I’m usually behind the counter or helping someone find where we moved the detergent. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We try to keep the place clean, but with people coming in from the dusty main road, it’s a constant battle. We don't do any big promotions or flashy sales. We just put the prices on the items and let people shop. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. Some of our customers have been coming here since we first opened our doors. We know their preferences and usually have a bit of a chat while ringing up their items. It’s just a local shop serving the neighborhood. Sometimes the fridge for the cold drinks makes a loud humming sound, but it still keeps everything perfectly cold for the customers.
