Over in Orissa, specifically at Bridge Chaka in Anandapur, Keonjhar, we have this Premco Rail Engineers Limited site. It’s a bit of a different vibe out here compared to the city offices. Being near the bridge is quite convenient for the type of rail work we do in this district. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the rail infrastructure is solid. The Keonjhar area has its own challenges with the landscape and the weather, but we’ve been here long enough to figure it out. Our office is a simple place where we store our gear and meet up before heading out to the projects. It’s not polished at all, just a functional space for engineers. We work on the tracks, the bridges, and anything else related to the local rail lines. Most of the people working here are local or have been in the area so long they might as well be. We don't spend much time on talk; we just get to the site and start working. There’s always something that needs attention, whether it’s a small repair or a bigger installation project. The dust and the sun are just part of a normal day for us. We like the work because it’s tangible and you can see what you’ve accomplished by the end of the shift. It’s just us doing what we do, trying to keep the lines in good order for everyone.
