E-TRANS AND CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED is located over at Plot No-129/1109 in Serenda, which is part of the Barbil area. It’s the home office for Debakanta Das and where we keep all our construction gear and records. Barbil is a busy place, especially with all the transport and mining stuff going on around here. We fit into that by handling the construction side and some of the transport needs that come up. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the government forms we have to fill out. It’s often dusty outside because of the heavy trucks moving through Serenda, but that’s just how life is in this part of the country. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the jobs we take on get finished. Some days involve a lot of driving around to check on different sites, making sure the equipment is working and the guys have what they need. It’s a practical business. We deal with concrete, steel, and logistical problems every single day. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, or a truck breaks down at the wrong time, but we just figure it out as we go. We’ve been based here in Barbil for a good bit now and we know the roads and the local suppliers pretty well. It’s just us doing our part in the local industry without any fancy talk or corporate layers.
