Dr. Prasant Kumar Dev Clinic

Our clinic is in Kashipur in the Sahu Colony area. If you live around here you probably know the spot. Dr. Prasant Kumar Dev Clinic is a small neighborhood practice where we see a bit of everything. The colony is usually pretty quiet compared to the main town area. We have a simple room with a desk and some chairs for the patients. It is a very humble space without any of the fancy decorations you might see in big city clinics. We have a lot of regular families who come to us for their basic health needs. The floor is tiled and we spend a good amount of time sweeping it because of all the shoes coming in and out. There is a small window that looks out onto the street where you can see the local kids playing sometimes. We keep our records in big paper folders on the shelves behind the desk. It feels very personal because we know most of our patients by their first names. We don't do any big advertising because people in Sahu Colony just talk to each other when they need a doctor. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We open up the shutters every morning and sit down to wait for the day to begin. It is a slow and steady kind of life here in Kashipur and we are happy to be a part of it. We try to keep a pot of water ready for anyone who is thirsty while they wait.
