Acc Ltd

Sindri is an old industrial town in the Dhanbad district, and you can feel that history when you walk around. Our office for Acc Ltd is at Qr No D11 in the Acc Colony. It’s a place with a lot of character, even if the building itself looks its age. The Jharkhand weather can be quite unpredictable, with heavy rains that sometimes make the roads a bit muddy. Inside our quarter, we’ve set up several workstations. It’s a bit cramped because we have so many old records stored in boxes along the hallway. We don't really throw much away. The day usually starts with a bit of cleaning because of the soot and dust that settles overnight. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s all about the work here—checking the numbers and making sure the schedules are being followed. There’s a small garden patch outside the front door that we try to keep tidy, though the goats from the neighborhood sometimes get in. It’s a very human place to work. We talk about our families over lunch and complain about the slow internet together. It’s the kind of office where you know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We’ve been part of this colony for years and it feels like a second home.
