Out here at Plot No-A in Kendrapara, Orissa, life in the industrial sector is pretty straightforward. We spend our days at Prtibha Industries dealing with the actual work of production and logistics. We keep our records in simple ledgers and spend a lot of time on our feet. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here in Kendrapara that we’ve all grown accustomed to. We don't go in for fancy mission statements or corporate branding. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home at a decent hour. It’s a hard but honest way to make a living.
