My Lifeline Foundation

Our office is located at Plot No-867 in Bharatpur, which is part of the Mehedipur area in Kendrapara. If you’ve ever been to Kendrapara, you know it’s a place where people really know their neighbors and keep an eye out for each other. That’s kind of how we operate too. We started this foundation because we saw things in the community that needed a bit of attention. It’s not like we have a massive budget or a fleet of vehicles. Mostly it’s just us and a few volunteers who show up when they can. The building itself is pretty plain, just a spot where we can keep our things and have a seat when the sun gets too hot. We spend a lot of time out in the streets talking to people and seeing what’s actually happening on the ground. Kendrapara can be a tough place sometimes, but there’s a lot of heart here. We don’t try to act like we’re better than anyone else or like we have some magic fix for everything. We’re just trying to be a lifeline for the people around here who might be struggling a bit. Some days are good, some are frustrating when things don’t go the way we planned. But we’ve lived here a long time, so we’re used to the ups and downs. It’s just about being a good neighbor and helping out where you can. That's really all there is to it.
