We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in the office, just the desks and equipment we need to stay on top of things. Sometimes the weather gets a bit heavy, especially during the monsoon, but we keep the doors open and the work going regardless. It’s a local operation. Most of the people around here know us by name, or at least they know where the building is. We don't go in for flashy signs or big advertisements. We just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a steady kind of life in Kendrapara. We get in early, look at what needs doing, and get to it. There isn't much drama. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure Gherzi Eastern Ltd. runs the way it’s supposed to in this part of Orissa. If you’re passing through the district, it might not look like much from the outside, but there’s plenty happening inside. We take pride in just being consistent. It’s about showing up every day and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. We’ve learned to deal with the slow days and the busy ones all the same. It’s just work, and we do it.
