Our work is mostly about coordinating trips and making sure vehicles show up on time. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know the best backwaters and the quietest spots that aren't over-crowded yet. We don't use fancy marketing talk about "unforgettable experiences." We just tell you which boat is good and what time the train leaves. It’s a practical business. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink tea, and other days are total chaos when a big group arrives. We take it as it comes. People know us in Kalarcode as the guys who handle the travel stuff. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the state. We just want to make sure the people who talk to us get to where they want to go without too much trouble. It’s a lot of work but seeing the houseboats go by is nice. We just keep our head down and work.
