This is the Hospital For Chest Dieaeses Karunagappally and we are right here in the middle of Karunagappally. It’s a place that’s been around for people who are having trouble with their lungs or breathing. We don't have those huge glass walls or expensive art in the lobby like some of the new places in the big cities. Instead, we have chairs that have been sat in for years and a staff that knows most of the patients by their first names. Working here means seeing a lot of the same faces from around town. We spend our days doing checkups and listening to people talk about their health problems. It’s often quite busy in the mornings when the buses bring people in from the outskirts.
