Mata Enterprises-Sahara Q Shop

Mata Enterprises is the name on the board, and we run the Sahara Q Shop out on Meja Road in Allahabad. The pin code is 212303 for this area. We are quite close to the Bank of Baroda, or the BOB as everyone says, so we get a lot of people who are finished with their bank work and need to pick up a few things. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the construction and the traffic on Meja Road, but it stays busy enough. We are just local people running this place. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a regular shop where you can find what you need for the house. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just how things go around here. We open up early and stay till late evening usually. The shelf space is a bit tight, so we’ve got boxes stacked in the back corner most of the time. My brother and I handle most of the work ourselves. We don't have any fancy systems, just a notebook for some things and the register. It’s a quiet life in Meja Road except for the honking trucks. We know the neighbors and the people from the nearby villages who come into town for the bank. It is just a regular local business and we are glad to be part of the area.
