Down in Rajroop Pur, specifically at 177/1K, you will find our little office. Leighton Construction Indae Pvt. is just a name on a door, but mostly it is a few of us trying to keep things running smoothly. Allahabad has its own rhythm, and we have learned to work with it over the years. We are not a corporate giant with a glass building. Our space is lived-in and a bit cluttered with project binders and old site photos from years ago. We do a lot of walking back and forth to the sites nearby. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors and people stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We do not have a receptionist in a uniform. Usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just answers it. We handle the daily grind of building and planning without much fuss or noise. Sometimes the power goes out or the summer heat gets to be a bit much, but we just keep going. We do not have any polished speeches about what we do. It is just about getting the foundations poured and the walls up. We focus on the practical side of things. If you are looking for us, look for the place with the stack of hard hats by the entrance. That is us. We just do our bit and try to stay busy. It is a simple life and we are okay with that.
