Satyanarayan Industries

Our place is right near the Shivarampally Railway Station in Kattedan. You can hear the trains passing by all day, which you eventually get used to. Satyanarayan Industries has been at this address, 6-4-63, for a long time. Kattedan is a busy area with lots of manufacturing, and we are just one of many small units here. We mostly deal with raw materials and basic processing. The walls are a bit stained from the dust, and the floor is rough. It’s a regular place. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the surrounding villages who take the train or ride their bikes in. There’s a small tea shop just outside our gate where we take our breaks. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. I manage the books and the guys on the floor handle the machines. It’s a straightforward way of living. Rangareddy gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to get a breeze. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings going up. But inside our walls, things stay pretty much the same. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure the machines are oiled. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and work. The station noise is just part of our day now. We don't mind it much because it reminds us we're right in the middle of things.
