G S Granites

Our place, G S Granites, is found at number 27 on Katpadi Road in the Serkadu area. If you know the road well, you've probably driven past us a few times. We deal with granite slabs and stones mostly. It’s heavy work and there is usually a bit of dust around the yard, but that’s just how it goes when you work with stone. We have a decent stock sitting out there for anyone to look at. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building, just a local yard where we keep the materials. Serkadu is a decent place for a business like ours because there is enough space to move the trucks in and out without too much trouble. Most of the time it’s just us moving things around and talking to customers who need a bit of stone for their houses or projects. We try to keep the prices fair because we live here too and know how things are. Dealing with granite means you have to be careful with the lifting and the cutting, so we spend a lot of our time making sure everything is handled right. The sun gets pretty hot out on Katpadi Road during the afternoons, but we just get on with it. We don't have a fancy sales team or anything, usually you just talk to whoever is free at the gate. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay for the long run. There is always a lot to do.
