Shailesh Printers & Stationers

Our shop is at 27, Ramdev Baba Layout, right by Bajrang Chowk in the Tar Bazaar area. It sits right on the main road, so it’s easy to find but also very noisy with all the trucks and bikes passing by. We sell a lot of different things, from simple ballpoint pens to heavy ledgers and specialized stationery. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things fall off when someone reaches for something on the top row. We have a small printing unit in the back too, mostly for doing bill books and simple business cards. The bell on the front door rings every time someone walks in, and it’s a sound we hear dozens of times a day. We spend a lot of time counting out envelopes or testing pens to see if the ink is still good. The floor is made of old tiles that have cracked in a few places over the years. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are quiet, but usually, we are busy helping someone find a specific type of notebook or stapler. It gets quite dusty because of the road outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass display cases. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking in from the bazaar. It’s a straightforward shop where we know most of the regular customers by their first names.
