V V Earth Crops & Co is based out of Sonwani Kalan. We work out of Phathak Bhawan, which is a building right in the heart of the village. If you’re looking for us, we’re almost exactly across from the police station, so you can’t really miss the turn. It’s a very rural setting here in the Amanganj tehsil, and that’s just how we like it. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though it gets dusty when the wind picks up across the fields. We deal with crops all day, so being right in the village where the stuff actually grows makes sense. The office is simple, with old wooden furniture and stacks of ledgers. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the breeze coming through the windows and maybe a fan if it’s really hot. Most of our day is spent talking to local farmers or sorting through the latest harvest. It’s a slow pace compared to the city, but it's steady. We know most people in the village, and they know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, open the doors, and see what the day brings. It’s honest work, and we’re just a small part of the life here in Sonwani Kalan, doing our bit with the earth’s bounty and making sure the crops get to where they are going.
