Tavite B.Ed & D.Ed Training College

Our college is out on N.H.7, right on the Jabalpur Road near Katni Junction. Being on a national highway means we hear the trucks passing by all day and night. It’s a bit out of the main town in Piprondh, so there is a lot of open space and trees around us. We focus on training future teachers, so the atmosphere is usually quite busy with lesson planning and practice teaching sessions. The Madhya Pradesh sun is no joke, and the ground around the college gets very dry and dusty during the summer. We have a simple building that houses the classrooms and the office where we handle all the B.Ed and D.Ed registrations and fees. It’s a long road to get here for some of our students who travel from the city, but they manage to arrive on time. We don’t have anything luxurious or modern; it’s just a place to study and learn how to manage a classroom of kids. The staff mostly lives nearby or travels in from Katni every morning. We spend a lot of time in the office trying to keep the records straight for the 483501 zip code area. Sometimes we have tea outside when the weather is a bit cooler in the winter months. It’s a straightforward life here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy brochures. We just want to make sure the trainees know what they are doing before they head out to their own schools. It’s practical work for practical people.
