We’ve been over here near the New Katni Junction for quite a while now. Most people know the SBI Bank nearby, and we’re just a short walk from there. We mostly handle refractory materials, which is basically stuff that can take a lot of heat without melting. It’s heavy work, and the yard gets dusty quite often. Our office is at P.O. Box-9. The crew usually starts early in the morning when the air is still cool. We see a lot of trains passing through the junction throughout the day. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just a functional space where we keep our inventory piled up. Sometimes the phones are busy or the weather makes things slow down, but we just keep at it as best as we can. The workers know their way around the different types of bricks and linings. It isn’t fancy at all. If you come by, you'll probably see a couple of trucks being loaded up with heavy pallets. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our spot stays the same. The heat in Katni can be a lot in the summer, but we're used to it. We handle the paperwork and the shipping right from here. People come in looking for specific materials for their kilns or furnaces. We just check the stock and see what's available in the back. It's a straightforward operation. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking modern. It's about getting the orders out and making sure the counts are right before the trucks leave the gate. Sometimes we have a cup of tea and wait for the next delivery.
