Ojaswini Refractories

The shop at A-2 Vrindavan Colony is where you’ll find us most days. We are right opposite Murli Dhaba, which is a big help when someone is trying to find the place for the first time. At Ojaswini Refractories, the work is mostly about bricks and materials that can handle a lot of heat. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. You end up with dust on your clothes by the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time moving these heavy refractory items around the warehouse area. The colony is usually quiet, but we get the noise from the main road and the dhaba across from us. Sometimes the smell of food from Murli Dhaba drifts over while we are loading up a truck. We don't have any shiny showrooms or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we keep the stock and do the paperwork. Most of the people we deal with are looking for specific types of linings for their ovens or furnaces. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the place gets a bit crowded. It is just a few of us working here, making sure things get sent out to where they need to go. We’ve been in this spot for some time and the neighbors know us. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning to evening.
