You can find Katni Computer System right on the Main Road here in Katni. We are situated right across from the Church and the Head Post Office, which are two big landmarks everyone knows. The shop is usually full of keyboards, monitors, and cables scattered around. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out why someone’s laptop won't turn on or why the internet is being slow. It’s just a few of us here. We aren't trying to be some big tech hub, we just like fixing things. Some days are quiet and we just organize the shelves, while other days there's a line of people out the door with broken computers. We’ve lived in Katni a long time, so we see a lot of familiar faces coming in. We don't bother with a lot of marketing or polished signs. Most people find us because they walked past or a neighbor told them we were here. We keep a pot of tea going in the back and just take things as they come. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic on the Main Road, but we’re used to it by now. We focus on getting the hardware running again so people can get back to their work. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on for us. It's not always perfect, and sometimes we run out of parts, but we do what we can with what we have on hand. It is a simple life in a busy town.
