Hello Kids - Stepup

We opened Hello Kids - Stepup on Mandi Road because we saw a need for a place here in Katni where kids could just spend their day learning things. It is not a big fancy building, just a regular spot where we try to keep things organized for the little ones. Mostly, our mornings stay busy with parents dropping off their children before they head to work. We spend a lot of time just talking to the kids and making sure they are comfortable. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy, but that is how it usually goes when you have a bunch of children in one room. If you are driving down Mandi Road, the building is fairly easy to find. Since we have been here for a while now, most people in the neighborhood know our faces. Nothing we do here is too complicated. Focus is kept on the basics like letters, numbers, and playing together. While a few of us handle the teaching, we also have someone to help with cleaning and snacks. Keeping up with the energy levels of toddlers is a lot of work. To help the kids know what to expect each day, we try to stick to a routine. Lunchtime is always the most chaotic part of the whole day. We mostly just want the kids to be safe and learn a few things before they head home in the afternoon. It is just a local place doing what we can for the families around Katni.
