Chourasiya Pan & General Store

Our place, Chourasiya Pan & General Store, is located on Damoh Road in Ward No.15 of Patan. It is a small shop where we sell pan and various other small things that people need quickly. Being on Damoh Road means we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers passing through who need a break or a quick smoke. We also keep basic general store items for the people living in the ward. Things like matches, biscuits, and bottled water are always in stock. The shop is quite small, but we have been here a long time. It’s a one-man or two-man operation most of the time. We see the traffic go by all day and night. The evening is usually our busiest time when the local men come by after their work is done. They stand around, have their pan, and talk about the day. It’s a very casual place. We don’t have any fancy signs or lighting. The shelves are a bit old, and things are tucked into corners, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest living. We deal with all sorts of people, from the locals to strangers just passing through Patan. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local pan and general store helping people get through their day with the little things they need. We open early and stay open until the road gets quiet at night.
