Chandrka Clinic

Chandrka Clinic is situated right on the main road in Barela. If you are near by the main road here, you will probably see our sign. It is a humble little place, nothing like those big hospitals you see in the cities. We have a couple of rooms and a small area for people to sit down. The air in Barela can get a bit dusty with all the trucks going past, so we are often wiping down the windows and the chairs. It’s just how it is when you’re located so close to the main thoroughfare. We know a lot of the people who live around here by name. They stop in when they aren't feeling well or just need a quick word. The clock on the wall ticks pretty loud when it’s quiet, but it’s rarely quiet for long. We have some basic wooden benches for waiting. The paint on the door frame is peeling a little bit at the bottom, but we haven't got around to fixing that yet. It doesn't really matter for the work we do. Every morning starts with a cup of tea before the first person arrives. We just take things one day at a time, trying to be helpful to the folks in Barela. It’s a straightforward life running a clinic on the road like this.
