Chandak Hospital

We have been located at Chandak Chowk for a long time now, and most people around Katni know exactly where to find us because the landmark itself is basically named after the place. It is an older building, nothing very fancy to look at, but we keep things running every single day. Mostly, it is just about seeing the patients who come in from the nearby streets or even the villages further out. We have a small staff, and sometimes it gets really busy in the mornings, especially when the weather changes and everyone seems to get a fever at the same time. My uncle actually started this place, and now we just carry on with the daily work. We deal with all sorts of regular health issues that families deal with. You will usually see the same few faces if you come back twice. The lobby is a bit small and the chairs are older, but they do the job while people wait for their turn. We do not have a big website or anything like that. Most folks just walk in because they already know we are here. Katni is a busy town, and being right at the Chowk means there is always a lot of noise outside from the traffic. Inside, we try to keep things organized, though with many patients, it can get a bit chaotic. We just take it one person at a time. It is a local place for local people.
