Calderys India Refractories Limited

Down here in Katni, at the Post Katni Cf area, you will find Calderys India Refractories Limited. It is an industrial district so it is not exactly a quiet or pretty place to work. We deal with refractories which basically means we make the stuff that lines high-heat furnaces. It is tough work and the factory floor is always buzzing with noise. We have been here for a good long time now. Most of the staff live nearby in the district and we have become a tight group over the years. We do not have much in the way of a fancy lobby or anything like that. We spend our time checking the mixes and making sure the bricks and linings are solid. It gets really hot in this part of the country and working around industrial materials makes it even hotter. We just drink a lot of water and keep moving. It is not the kind of job you do if you want to keep your clothes clean. By the end of the shift we are all pretty tired. We focus on getting the orders out to the big plants that need them. It is honest industrial work and we take it as it comes. No one here is trying to be anything we are not. We just make the refractories and try to get home to our families on time.
