Babele Canteen

Babele Canteen is situated on Sahpura Road in Ward No.10 of Patan. We are right beside the Civil Court, which means we get a lot of people coming in who are busy with legal matters. Lawyers, clerks, and folks who have to attend court often stop by for a quick bite or a tea. It’s a fast-paced environment here. People are usually in a hurry, so we have to be quick with the service. We serve simple food and snacks that are easy to eat on the go. The atmosphere is quite lively with all the court talk happening around the tables. We’ve been here for a while, and the court staff are like family to us now. The building is old and simple, nothing like those modern cafes you see in the big cities. We have some basic seating where people can rest for a bit. The smell of tea and snacks usually fills the air throughout the day. It gets very crowded during the lunch hour, and sometimes we run out of things if it's a particularly busy day at the court. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know people like. It’s hard work keeping up with the rush, but it’s a good kind of busy. We open up early to catch the morning crowd and stay until the court closes for the day. It’s just an honest local canteen serving the Patan community.
