Anand Pulses

Anand Pulses is located near Gram Talavara Kala, right by the Post Office in Badera, Tehsil Katni. It’s a very quiet, rural spot where we do our work. We deal with pulses, which means there are always bags of lentils and beans stacked up in the warehouse. Being out here in the Tehsil means we are close to the farms where the crops come from. We don’t have any fancy office equipment or a website with lots of pictures. We just focus on the pulse processing and getting them ready for the market. The road to the post office can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage to get the trucks in and out. It’s a family-run kind of thing where everyone knows their job. We spend our days checking the quality of the grains and making sure the storage is dry. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and moving them around the space. We’ve been in this part of Katni for a long time and our neighbors are mostly farmers. There isn't much noise out here besides the sound of the birds and the occasional tractor passing by. We like the pace of life in the village. It isn't a high-pressure environment, just steady, honest work that needs to be done every day. We don't bother with much else besides our pulses and the community we live in. It keeps us going through the year.
