Aayurteerth Pharmacy is located right on the Prerana Vidyalay Campus on Kiritpur Road. It’s a bit of a unique spot because we are so close to the school in Kathiya. Ganesh Verma helps look after the place. Being out here in the Ranka tehsil area means things are a bit slower than in the big cities. We have a steady rhythm to our days. We open up early, usually just as the students are starting to arrive. The building we use is simple, nothing too fancy, just enough room for the medicine stocks and a small desk for the records. We have to be careful with the storage because it can get quite humid here. Most of our work involves sorting through different herbal and pharmaceutical products that come in from the bigger distributors. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people who stop by with questions. It’s a small community, so we know most of the families by name. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander onto the road and block the delivery trucks, which is just part of life here. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily chores, keeping the shelves tidy, and making sure we don't run out of the basics that people need. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living in this part of Berla. We usually close up once the afternoon sun starts to fade and the school grounds get quiet.
