Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd.

We are set up at Argara Chowk in Katihar, right on the New Jute Mill Road. It’s a busy part of town in Bihar. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. has this branch to manage the work we do in this region. Katihar has its own way of doing things, and we’ve learned to adapt over the years. Our office is a simple place where we gather to talk about the day's tasks. There’s a lot of activity near the jute mill, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We focus on construction and local infrastructure projects. It’s not always easy getting materials out here, but we have some good local contacts who help us out. The team is small but we all work hard. We don’t use a lot of big words or have complicated systems. We just write down what needs to be done and we go out and do it. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, especially when the roads get muddy, but we manage to keep the work moving. We’ve been in Vinod Pur for a while now and the locals know us. We’re just a bunch of people trying to build things that last. We drink a lot of tea and spend our days checking on sites and making sure the workers have what they need. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We like it here in Katihar.
