Bhagwati Rice Mill

You can find Bhagwati Rice Mill over in Ward Number 45 in Daheria Village. We are part of the Katihar Block and our place is right near the New Power House. Having the power house nearby is actually quite helpful for us. Running a rice mill is a loud and dusty job but it is what we know how to do. We take the raw paddy from the local farmers and turn it into rice that people can eat. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the machines are running correctly. The floor is usually covered in some grain and we have to sweep it out every evening. We don't have any fancy titles or office desks. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes making sure the bags are filled and stitched up properly. During the harvest season, we are here from early morning until very late at night because the farmers are all in a hurry. The village of Daheria is a good place to be and we have plenty of space for the tractors to park while they wait. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. The farmers know where we are and they just show up when their crop is ready. It is a very straightforward business with no hidden complications. We just want to do a good job with the grain and keep our neighbors happy with the stuff we do every day.
