BABLU KUMAR CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED

This is Bablu Kumar Constructions and we are over in the Laliyahai area of Katihar. My wife, Sabita Kumari, and I run things from here. It is a family business through and through. We didn’t set out to be some massive corporation, we just wanted to build things properly in our hometown. People in Katihar know us by name, which is how we like it. When you work in construction, you spend a lot of time on your feet and dealing with materials. We have our hands in a bit of everything when it comes to local projects. Some mornings are spent checking on supplies and others are spent at the site making sure the walls are going up straight. It can be a bit chaotic sometimes, especially with the dust and the noise, but that is the nature of the job. We keep our office at home mostly because it makes sense for us. You won't find us using big words or trying to sound like we are from a city skyscraper. We are just local people working hard to make a living and help the neighborhood grow a little bit at a time. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes we run into delays with rain or getting the right stuff delivered, but we deal with it as it comes. That is the way we have always done things here. We just take life as it is and build one house at a time.
