Anugram Rural Development Foundation

Our office is over on the north side of the T.V. Centre in Katihar. If you know where Dinesh Jha lives, we are right there. The post office is B.M.P-7. It’s a busy enough spot. We started Anugram Rural Development Foundation to just be involved in things around here. Katihar is our home. We aren't doing anything flashy. Just work from this small space. Sometimes the traffic near the T.V. Centre gets a bit much, but it's okay. We are easy to find if you are in the 854106 zip area. It’s mostly just us sitting at the desks and handling the paperwork. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address. People stop by sometimes to ask about what we are doing. We tell them we are just working on rural development. It’s a lot of small steps. It's not always exciting, but it's what we do. The building is older. We share the space near the Jha residence. It feels more like a home than a business. That's fine by us. We like the local feel. Katihar has changed over the years, but we stay put. There's always plenty to do. We just keep at it day by day. It’s not about being the biggest, just being here. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors. That’s how we get most of our information. It works for us. We're just local people doing what we can.
