Ankita Medical Agency is tucked into the Abhinab Market area here. If you walk through the market, you’ll find us surrounded by boxes and crates of various supplies. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we have a lot of stock coming in and going out every week. Most of our day is spent checking invoices, counting strips of medicine, and talking to the delivery guys who drop stuff off. It’s a bit dusty because of the market location, but we try to keep the shelves organized so we can find things quickly. We aren't a big pharmacy where you buy a single bandage; it's more about the wholesale side of things and getting items to where they need to go. The phone rings a lot with people asking if we have certain brands in stock. Sometimes we have to tell them to wait for the next truck. The lights in the shop are a bit dim, and the desk is usually covered in papers and pens. It’s just a normal workplace where we handle the logistics of medical goods. We know the other shop owners in Abhinab Market and it’s a familiar routine for everyone involved. We just open up in the morning, sort the orders, and stay until the last box is moved. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from start to finish. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the inventory is right.
