If you are over in Kathua and pass by the Nagri Bus Stand, you’ll see the Shri Raj Complex. We are right there in Ward Number 2. Shri Raj Farms Organic Foods Privatelimited operates out of this spot. Being across from a bus stand means there’s always a lot of movement and people passing by. It can be quite noisy with the buses honking and the crowds, but it’s a great location for us to keep an eye on things. Our office in the complex is pretty simple. We have some wooden chairs and a lot of registers where we track the farm output. We spend half our time here and the other half out at the farms. It’s mostly about the dirt and the seasons for us. We don't have any flashy advertisements on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a map of the local area. When people come in, they usually want to talk about the harvest or the prices. We don't use any big business lingo. We just talk like the farmers we work with. Kathua is a good place for this kind of work. The sun is hot, and the work is hard, but we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. We just want to make sure the organic food from our farms gets to the people who need it. It’s a straightforward life at the Shri Raj Complex.
