Maa Shakti Medicos

Maa Shakti Medicos is located on College Road in Kathua. We are right opposite the DC Office, which is a very well-known landmark around here. Being in this part of town means there is always a lot of foot traffic and cars passing by. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. The shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two or three people are inside, but we manage. We’ve been here long enough that most of the college students and people visiting the government offices know we are here. It’s a simple setup. We have a counter, a small fridge for certain items, and our ledger. We don't go in for fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a regular local chemist shop. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, it's pretty steady. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. The noise from College Road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We just focus on our work and making sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a modest place, but it’s ours and we’re proud of it. We just keep things moving one day at a time here in Kathua.
