We set up our office here in Kathua, over in Chankya Enclave on Krishna Marg. It’s on the first floor in Ward No. 3. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We deal with insurance and investment services for people in the area. Most of the time, folks just walk in because they have a question about a policy or want to know where to put their savings. We have a few chairs for visitors and some desks where we keep our records. It’s not a massive operation. We just like to keep things simple and clear. Dealing with insurance can be confusing for people, so we spend a lot of time explaining the fine print without making it sound too complicated. Jammu Kashmir can have its quiet days, but our office stays fairly active. We have some plants in the corner that we sometimes forget to water, and the walls are a bit plain. We are more concerned with getting the paperwork right than how the office looks. Most people who come here are neighbors or people from the nearby wards. It feels like a local spot. We keep the kettle going for tea, and usually, there’s some talk about the weather or local news before we get down to the business of forms and premiums. It's just a regular office doing regular work for the community here in Kathua. We like it that way. No fuss.
