About Krishna Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Kathua
Krishna Bricks is located over in Ro Ward No- 5, which is right near the college. It is a busy little spot, especially in the mornings when the students are walking to their classes and our trucks are trying to pull out onto the road. The yard is usually full of red bricks stacked high in long rows that seem to go on forever. Depending on the time of year, the ground can get pretty muddy or really dry and cracked, but that’s just how it is when you’re working outside with earth and water all day long. We have been in this part of town for quite some time, and most people around here know where we are. The kiln stays hot, and there is always a faint smell of wood smoke or coal in the air when we are burning a new batch. It takes a lot of hands to keep things moving, from the guys molding the clay to the ones loading the finished bricks onto the back of the lorries. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that; we just have a small desk where we keep track of the loads going out to different sites. Sometimes a neighbor will pop in just to chat for a minute while we’re waiting for the next truck to arrive. It is steady work, and it keeps us occupied from sunrise until the sun starts to go down over the college buildings.
