Icici Lombard Gic Ltd

I work over at Icici Lombard Gic Ltd in Kathua. Our place is in Ward No 16, which is a part of town most people around here know pretty well. It is in the 184101 area. Most days I get in early and unlock the front door. There is a lot of dust that settles on the desks overnight, so the first thing I usually do is give things a quick wipe. The office isn’t huge, but it fits us just fine. Kathua can get pretty hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just wait for it to come back and keep going with whatever paperwork is on the desk. People walk by Ward No 16 all the time on their way to other shops or heading home. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s a steady kind of place to be. I like the neighborhood because it feels lived in and familiar. There’s a tea stall not too far away where some of us go during the break. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that, just the desks and chairs we need to get through the day's tasks. It feels like a normal office where people just come to do their jobs and then go home to their families at night. That’s how things go here in Kathua.
