Easy Shop

Easy Shop is located at house number 702 in Durga Colony, which is part of Ward No 17. We are pretty close to Vipan Studio, so if you know where that is, you can’t miss us. This is a residential neighborhood, and we’ve basically turned a part of the house into the shop. It’s a local place where the neighbors come to pick up things they’ve run out of. We aren’t some big supermarket with aisles and carts. It’s just shelves filled with everyday items like soap, flour, and snacks. My family and I take turns minding the counter. Sometimes it’s really busy in the mornings when everyone is heading out, and other times it’s so quiet I end up reading the newspaper for an hour. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. We just put a sign out front and people know we are here. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time because the delivery van got stuck in traffic, but we make do. It’s just a regular shop for regular people living around Durga Colony. We keep it simple and try to be helpful when someone is looking for something specific. It’s been our way of life for a good while now and we like the neighborhood.
