Choopa Dental Clinic

Choopa Dental Clinic is up here in Paddar, in the Kishtwar area of Jammu. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for the people living in Paddar, we are the local spot for teeth problems. The clinic isn't very big, and we don't have a whole lot of staff. Usually, it's just a couple of us making sure everything is ready for the patients. We have the dental chair and the basic tools to fix cavities or pull a tooth if it’s causing too much trouble. It’s a humble place, and we don’t put on any airs. The air can be quite cold here, so we try to keep the inside as comfortable as possible for people waiting. You might hear the drill going when you walk in, which isn't everyone's favorite sound, but it's part of the job. We see a lot of people who have been living in these hills their whole lives. They don't want a fancy city clinic; they just want someone to fix their toothache so they can get back to work. We talk to our patients about their day and their families while we work. It’s a community thing. We don't have a website or a big marketing budget. Most people just know we are here in Paddar when they need us. We keep things honest and straightforward, focusing on the work at hand and making sure people leave feeling a bit better than when they came in.
