M/S Kushal Rice

M/S Kushal Rice is located in Sutarra village. It is in the Korba district. This is a rural area, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We handle the rice business from this one spot. The place is more of a warehouse and a small workspace combined. We don't have many visitors from outside the local area. Most of the people we see are our neighbors and farmers from nearby fields. We deal with the rice harvest every season. It is a lot of work during those busy months. We don't have much in the way of fancy equipment. We rely on our hands and a few old machines to get things done. The building is made of brick and has a tin roof. When it rains, it gets very loud inside. We usually have to stop talking and just wait for the storm to pass. We keep our records in handwritten books. It is just easier for us that way. The road leading to our place is a bit bumpy and can be difficult after a heavy rain, but we are used to it. We've lived and worked in Sutarra all our lives. We know the land and the people here. There isn't any desire to move to a bigger town. We like the quiet life and the steady work we have here. It feels right to be doing this in our own village. We keep the gates open for anyone who needs us. We are always here during daylight hours to help out.
