We are based in the Khargone district, out here where things are a bit more spread out. Being a trading business means we are always dealing with different kinds of goods and a lot of different people. Our day usually starts before the sun gets too high, getting everything ready for the first customers. We have a warehouse that stays pretty full, and it’s a constant struggle to keep it all organized. In Khargone, the weather really dictates how the day goes. If it’s too hot, things slow down, and if it rains, we have to hurry to cover everything up. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years or folks who were told to come here by their neighbors. We sit in the office, which is really just a room with some old chairs and a lot of ledgers. You’ll often find us drinking tea with a visitor while discussing prices or delivery times. It’s a very local way of doing things. We handle the lifting ourselves or with a couple of helpers when things get heavy. The floors are worn down from years of moving crates and bags across them. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without much changing. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't.
