Divya Laxmi Travels

This is Divya Laxmi Travels and you can find us at H. No 4-0 in Lambadithanda. We are right in the village of Dharmaraopet in the Kasipet mandal. Running a travel business in a place like this means you spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking the tires on the vehicles. The roads around here can be tough on the cars especially after a heavy rain when the dirt tracks get washed out. We know all the short cuts and the best places to stop along the way though. It started out small and it’s still pretty much just us handling everything from the house. People from the thanda come by when they need to get somewhere far away or if they have a family event coming up. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big website, we just talk to people and figure out where they need to go. Sometimes we are driving late at night or very early in the morning before the sun is even up. It gets quiet out on the road then. We see the seasons change from the driver’s seat. In the summer everything is brown and dry and then the green comes back when the monsoon starts. It is a decent way to make a living and we get to meet a lot of different people from all over the mandal.
