Narulas Gallery

Narulas Gallery is situated on Ratan Cinema Road in the Kashipur area. We are located very close to the Kurmanchal Bank, so there are always plenty of people coming and going nearby throughout the day. Being on the cinema road means it gets really busy and loud in the evenings when a popular movie is playing. You can often hear the music and the shouting crowds from our front door while we are trying to close up. Our space is filled with empty frames, glass, and various pieces of art we've collected over the years. It’s a bit cluttered if I’m being honest with you, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of our time measuring pieces of wood and cutting glass for the custom framing orders that come in. Sometimes we get a bit of sawdust all over the floor, but we try our best to sweep it up at the end of every day. The building is quite old, so the walls aren't perfectly straight anymore, which makes hanging up the heavier frames a little bit tricky sometimes. We have an old electric kettle in the back that we use to make tea for ourselves and any guests who decide to stay for a quick chat. It’s not a high-end art gallery like you might see in a big city; it’s just a local spot where people come to get their family photos framed or buy a simple print.
